we went on a quick visit to Pooja groceries- a Indian grocery shop to get some necessary items for my mom and dad. On the way we stopped by at Cresent moon bakery - A Afghan bakery. I heard Dad saying that this was their first time on the bakery cum restaurant. They tried some items while I enjoyed the warmth after being out in the cold.
இன்று மளிகை சமன் வாங்க கடைக்கு சென்றோம். பிறகு சாப்பிடுவதற்காக அப்பாவும் அம்மாவும் ஒரு ஆப்கான் கடைக்கு சென்றார்கள். வெளியே மிகவும் குளிரக இருந்தது. கடைக்குள் சென்றவுடன் நான் நிம்மதியாக தூங்கினேன் . கடைக்குள் அவ்வளவாக குளிர் இல்லை.

Day 46 November 21st 2009
Today we went to woodbury lakes and did some shopping. It was a bit cold. Guess I have to get used to it soon. We also went out to try some Chinese, Vietnamese cuisine in the near by Duc's restaurant. Couple of grand ma's saw me there at the restaurant while we were waiting for the chair. They admired my hair..hope I have this hair for a long long time. After settling in to our seats I went right back to my sleep while everyone else ate. Guess it is good for both of us. They are happy to eat and I am happy to sleep.
Day 45 November 20th 2009
Today dad came second in a his office Chili cook off. Mom told that she will buy me something from the gift card Dad won for this Chili cook off. Hope she keeps her promise...;-)

The toys continue to come...:-) Subbu uncle and Saranya aunty came over to see me. They bought me this beautiful bouncer which is fun to sleep in.சுப்பு, சரண்யா இன்று என்னை பார்க்க வந்தார்கள்.

Its Toys toys toys, Like a sudden rain I got many toys all of a sudden.My Dad got me a beautiful Planet around play gym.I lay and play with the animals and colorful stuffs hanging around. Vetri uncle and Aarti Aunty visited me. They gave a beautiful toy that made all kind of funny sounds and moved around. Avanish gave his swing to me which also made some nice music.

This is my First month B'day.My dad baked a Lemon fruit cake and I cut the cake with my mom.I had a new yellow color cop dress.

Day 30 - November 5th 2009
I slept a little better after 2 bad days....mom struggled with me through the night as i kept waking up....they did not give me what i needed..and i did not tell them what i needed...

Day 25 - October 31st 2009
It's my first Halloween. Though I did not quite understand why...I was dressed up as a pumpkin. See the pic...Do I look happy??? NO.After putting on the dress mom thought I did not have enough tummy and decided to stuff the dress with some 4 or 5 towels. The dress was also too big. Mom sure enjoyed it. She even picked up lot of leaves from outside and created a outdoor feel indoors.
They decided to visit Mall of America again and I was forced to tag along. Avanish also joined us with his SuperMan costume. I was bored to see that Mall again....but guess I dont' get to pick where we go at least till I start speaking. Also got to get some pictures with the skeleton. I was not scared and really happy to sit on the laps of this skeleton.
இன்று ஹலூவீன். சிறியவரும் பெரியவரும் பல வேடங்களில் உடை உடுத்தி உலா வருவார்கள். என்னை பூசணி போல் உடை உடுத்தி அம்மா படம் எடுத்தார்கள். இது இலை உதிர் காலம் ஆகையால் வெளியில் இருந்து பல இலைகளை கொண்டு வந்து அதன் மேல் என்னை படுக்க வெய்து படம் எடுத்தார்கள். என் தொப்பை பூசணி போல் இல்லாததால் துணிகளை என் உடைக்குள் தினித்துவிட்டர்கள்.
பிறகு இரவு மறுபடியும் நேற்று நாங்கள் சென்ற Mallkku சென்றோம். பலரும் பல விதமான வேடங்களில் வந்தார்கள். நான் சிறிதும் பயம் இல்லாமல் இந்த எலும்பு கூடு பக்கத்தில் உட்கார்ந்து படம் எடுத்து கொண்டேன்.
Day 24 - October 30th 2009
Dad took a day off from work today. They decided to go on a fun trip to Mall of America. Even though it was a Friday the Mall was full. I have never seen anything so big. While everyone got to go on the rides and have fun..My only fun is to watch people walk by. Too bad that I did not get to go on even a single ride. I will make sure one day I will take my Mom and Dad to a big adventure park and make them see me taking all the rides. THEY JUST SHOULD SEE. No rides for them that day.

Day 19 - October 25th 2009
We had a photo session in the morning.I was not allowed to sleep properly and Dad moved me in all kind of directions to snap some pics. When I get big I am going to put him in all those same positions :-(.
I was also a bit fussy did not remember what I wanted. Mom tried to found out and eventually decided that I was cold. It might also be due to slight rashes I had. I also started sleeping late and today I slept only by 10:30. Guess I am now old enough to watch Late night talk shows..ha ha ha

Day 15 - October 21st 2009
Today we had our second doctor visit. The temperature was getting colder but I was looking forward to going out. Dr Gurney had the usual tests performed. Still people were talking about my hair. Everything check out good. I was fine. Then came a small shock to my mom and dad. I know mom and dad already got a flu shot before i was born. Today they had to take another shot for H1n1. I escaped the shot since I was very small :-)

Today I turned around by mistake. I was on the side and somehow i turned around. Somehow I forgot how i did that ...hopefully will learn soon.

Today we went to Surabhi - a Indian restaurant. This is my first trip to a restaurant. Most of the time i slept through it. I remember mom and dad enjoying the nice spread in the buffet. Wodering when I will get to taste this all :-|

Today we celebrated diwali at home. dad burst some crackers and I wore a cute new dress that my mom picked up for me.இன்று எங்கள் வீட்டில் தீபாவளி. அப்பா நிறைய பட்டாசு வெடித்தார். நான் பார்க்க மட்டும் செய்தேன். அடுத்த வருடம் எல்லாம் எனக்குத்தான். அம்மா எனக்கு ஒரு புதிய டிரஸ் வாங்கி கொடுத்தார்கள் .

"Happy Birthday Amma" today is my mom's B'day. This is my first b'day with her.My dad got her a beautiful Hawaiian sunset cake and today is supposed to be Sid's first Diwali party. We went to his party, fired sparkles and even celebrated my mom's b'day. It was so much fun.இனிய பிறந்த நாள் வாழ்த்துக்கள் அம்மா. அம்மாவின் பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டத்தில் முதல் முறையாக நானும் இருந்தேன். எனக்கு கேக் குடுக்கவில்லை :-(. கேக் பார்க்க நன்றாக இருந்தது. இன்றுதான் முதல் முறையாக நான் ஒரு பார்ட்டிக்கு சென்றேன். சித்தார்த் வீட்டில் நாங்கள் தீபாவளி கொண்டாடினோம். என்னை ரூமில் விட்டு விட்டு எல்லோரும் வெளிய சென்று பட்டாசு வெடித்தார்கள். அடுத்த ஆண்டு நானும் வெடிப்பேன்.

My Dad took off and he stayed with me and my mom for the past week, now its time for work, he kissed me and left to work. He constantly called my mom and checked me.

Day 6 - October 12th 2009
This is my First week visit to my Doctor. It was a very cold day and there was some flurries too, so my mom and Dad covered me nicely.While we were waiting in the lobby an old white hair lady saw me and she blessed me.As soon as my dad took me out from the car seat, the nurses were so excited and they were pouring "WoWs". They took me in and my nurse weighed me, I was about 6 pounds and 12 Oz. My doctor checked me thoroughly.While she was holding I pooped,that is so embarrassing, thank god I had my Diaper. All set, when we were about to leave the Clinic the nurse gave us a cover and said an old lady wanted us to have it. The lady is none other than the old lady we met in the lobby, the cover had a blessing note and Dollar ten, that is so nice of her.

Day 5 - October 11th 2009
This is my first Sunday, As usual I did my routine works. Morning was the same usual stuff. I did not think I will get bored so soon. Mom and Dad should probably take me out on longer trips or at least buy me some good toys. In the evening Rajesh uncle, Brindha Aunty,Binzeer Aunty,Jeen uncle and Ann Aunty visited me. I know Rajesh uncle is very good with his camera, who knows I can be his model. Brindha and Binzeer aunty were holding me for a long time, I felt very comfortable in their hands.

Day 4 - October 10th 2009
Wow what a day!! as soon I got up, a pretty looking nurse visited me, she held me and said "I haven't seen any baby with this much hair in my lifetime" I was so excited :) and she also said "he looks like a little Monkey" hmm...thats not fair:(. She weighed me, checked my temperature and did some paper works with my mom and dad.
It was a cold day my mom took me out. I was stunned to see colorful tree right in front of my house.My dad took some pictures of me and my mom.
சனிக்கிழமை எனக்கு ரொம்ப வேலை. என்னை பார்க்க வீட்டுக்கு ஒரு நர்ஸ் வந்தார்கள். என் முடியை பற்றியே பேசி கொண்டு இருந்தார்கள். அப்புறம் என்னையும் அம்மாவையும் செக் செய்தார்கள். ஒரு குறையும் இல்லை.
நல்ல குளிர் நேரத்தில் என்னை வெளியே கொண்டு சென்று படம் எடுத்தார்கள். நல்ல இலைஉதிர் காலம். மரங்கள் எல்லாம் பல நிறங்களில் ரொம்ப அழகாக இருந்தது. எங்கள் வீட்டு வெளியில் இருந்த மரத்தின் முன் நின்று நானும் அம்மாவும் படம் எடுத்து கொண்டோம். படத்தை ஊற்று பார்த்தாள் சின்னதாக நான் தெரிவேன்.
Day 3 - October 9th 2009
This was the day I got my own new pretty looking big crib. My crib was big enough to occupy me,my dresses and all my other stuffs. When Dad and mom went out for my crib shopping I had my first bottle milk from my grandma. By evening Pai Uncle , Anjana Aunty and Avanish visited, while Anajana Aunty was holding me Avanish was bit cranky and he dragged his dad's hand and wanted to leave home right away. I think I will also react in the same way as Avanish did when I have my little sister :)..It happens!!!

Day 2 - October 8th 2009
The second day was hectic. I was in the nursery for about 2 hours while my mom and dad rested. Then I came back and had some food. I remember my mom and dad also eating some good food. Mom tried oatmeal and really liked it. I could also smell some grilled chicken and quesedilla and several other things. But I think I just got just milk :-( .
While I was getting tested by my doctor mom and dad decided to go to some classes as they were bored. The first class was a A to Z class which covered a wide range of topics from safety to bath. I went to the class a bit late as my other testing took some time. As soon as i got there I had some food and got ready for my first modeling assignment. Yes..you heard it right..I became a model..albeit to a much smaller group of about 8 people. I got my first bath from dad and mom. Dad held me while mom washed me. one of the other father there took some nice pictures of us while I am taking a bath. hopefully these are my last set of nude pics. Then mom and me continued on to the breastfeeding class.
Since everything was normal we had a option to go home on 8th Evening instead of the next day morning. We jumped on that idea and finally I got to take a peek at the outside world. There were some formalities to complete. Once it was all over I got to go home. I was excited.Anjana Aunty,Rakesh uncle and Riya sister visited us. I was a bit cranky that night but adjusted quickly. Started sleeping, eating, pooping, peeing in cycles ..oooh life is hectic..
இரண்டாம் நாள் நிறைய வேலை இருந்தது. காலை என்னை சில டாக்டர்கள் சோதனை செய்தார்கள். பிறகு நானும் அப்பாவும் அம்மாவும் இரண்டு வகுப்புகளுக்கு சென்றோம். முதல் வகுப்பில் பல பாதுகாப்பு முறைகளையும் மற்றும் எப்படி என்னை பார்த்து கொள்வது என்பது பற்றியும் அப்பா அம்மாவுக்கு கற்று கொடுத்தார்கள். அப்பாவும் அம்மாவும் பல வகையான உணவுகளை ஆர்டர் செய்து சாப்பிட்டார்கள். எனக்கு பால் மட்டும் தான். :-(
நானும் அம்மாவும் சீக்கிரமாக தெளிவாகி விட்டோம். முன்னதாக நாங்கள் வெள்ளி கிழமை வீட்டுக்கு போவதாக இருந்தோம். டாக்டர் பார்த்து விட்டு எங்களுக்கு வியாழ கிழமை வீட்டுக்கு செல்ல அனுமதி கொடுத்தார்கள். முதல் முறையாக வெளி உலகை பார்த்தேன். வீடு வந்ததும் கொஞ்ச நேரம் ஆனது எனக்கு வீடு பழக. அப்புறம் நான் வழக்கம் போல என் வேலைகளை ஆரம்பித்தேன். சாபிடுவது, தூங்குவது என இந்த சின்ன வயதில் எனக்கு எவ்வளவு வேலை. அப்பா தலை சுத்துது......

Day 1 - October 7th 2009
With my mom's great and final push at 1:45 am on October 7th 2009 I saw the world. Dr Rebecca Gurney took me out and gave me to my mom and my dad cut my umbilical cord. Nurse Judy and couple of other nurses cleaned me and took my initial measurements. They also gave first shot to improve vitamin K levels. After wearing my first diaper they swaddled and gave me again to my mom and dad. Nurse Judy also took a lot of pictures with my dad and mom. I also tried drinking my first milk. not sure whether I was successful. At around 4 am we moved to a different room(Room no 2320) . Nurse Cheryl gave my first bath as my mom and Dad watched, I remember my Dad took a video of it.
Harish Uncle and Vidya Aunty visited me at the hospital along with Sid. I think he did not worry about me and kept on sleeping. I pretty much did the same. Later he woke up and saw me. I wonder what he thought of me. I remember everyone talking about my hair. I think I had a bit more hair than others..hope those stay with me for a long long time...
வணக்கம். என் பெயர் சச்சின். என் அம்மாவுக்கும் அப்பாவுக்கும் கிரிக்கெட் ஆட்டகாரர் சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கர் ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும் அதனால் இந்த பெயரை வேய்தர்கள். இன்று என்னுடையமுதல் நாள். நான் பிறந்த நாள். விடியற் காலை 1:45 ம்னிக்கு நான் பிறந்தேன். அம்மா என்னை அவர் கைகளில் வாங்கி தலையில் முத்தம் கொடுத்தார்கள். டாக்டர் ரேபெக்க கர்நீ என்னை வெளியே கொண்டு வந்தார். நர்ஸ் ஜோடி எனக்கும் அம்மாவுக்கும் நிறைய உதவி செய்தார்கள். என்னை நிறைய புகைப்படம் எடுத்தார்கள். பிறந்து சில மணி நேரங்களில் நாங்கள் வேறு ஒரு அறைக்கு சென்றோம். அப்போது முதல் அடுத்த நாள் சாயங்காலம் வரை நாங்கள் அறை என் 2320 இல் இருந்தோம்.
